The place

The place

Le Provençal, this family institution carried from Colmar to the French Riviera, opens a new chapter of its story in St Raphaël, Place Pierre Coullet.
A few steps away from the seaside and St Raphael’s train station, Le Provençal Café has written a lovely suite to follow the Cognet family’s background and know-how.
Beneath a large olive tree, the cafe’s yellow and white stripped terrace welcomes all gourmets, fine mouths, serendipity lovers or simple treasure seekers to discover Alsatian specialities in Provence.
Inside, a warm setting, where antique fourniture meet contemporary design in a symbiosis of good taste; where art is a preamble to every gourmandise

In St Raphael, Alsace and Provence match is a love story beautifully recounted by the Cognet family since 1972. This Alsatian house with a touch of Provence has established itself as an institution of modern culinary tradition, acquired with the bakery in Colmar at first, the confectionary and tea salon then.
Alsatian brioche, french pastries, nougats and macaroons, traditional bagnat bread or Nordic sandwiches... the Provençal Café menu chats around a forgotten mantra, the search of authentic taste.

THE Menu

On the sunny terrace or beneath the large olive tree, for breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea time, a snack or pastis, or even for a delicacy to take away, the Provençal Café offers an evolving menu to please all customers, the passionates, the regulars, the curious, the adepts of laziness and even the most in a hurry.
With friends, family, alone or in good company, the tea salon warmly welcomes you at any time of the day, from 8:30 am to 6 pm, from Tuesday to Saturday.
